Glorious-wip

I started this floral piece today, 4 hrs of work so far. The reference is from the open reference library over in Wetcanvas. I intend to finish this soon, since this will be one of the entry in a group show organized by seattle colored pencil society that’s coming up in the month of september!.

This is in the neocolor step or the ugly stage as I call it, I have to start on the color pencil once its dry. And its on pastel board, 11×14,

   

Work based on my demo

I had recieved quite a few response to my demo based on Neocolors and CP’s in the august issue of the FMP magazine. And I thought it would be appropriate to feature this particular work by my friend Fannie carte. She has reproduced the beautiful pears in her own style using my technique.
