Cherries & Silver

It’s Cherry season here in the northwest and Rainier cherries are the cream of the crop:). I just realised how hard it is to photograph a painting with a lot of Red on it. I tried to adjust the colors in PS, still the camera doesn’t seem to capture the subtle tone differences.

I seem to see roses everywhere nowadays! So continuing the series of roses with a white one on a horizontal format. I want to have a nice variety if small and big pieces for the show so that its easy for me to do the frames and affordable at the same time

Peace – 6×12 neocolors & cp’s

The next one is definetly a still life!

I was happy that many of you loved the ‘ Bleeding hearts’ . I wish I had taken some wip images, but time just seems to fly away. This piece was again an experimentational one. I usually have photo-realism in my work, but in this piece I tried to manipulate the background. I wanted the viewer to have more to look at once they are close to the work. So I have these little veins going in the back that almost looks like a shrink wrap. I was happy the way it turned out.  Its 12×16 , neo’s and cp’s on board. I guess few more florals and its time to get back to my still-life’s:)
