Last year, during the Annual Colored Pencil Society’s convention, our chapter won a raffle of the new Hahnemühle Bamboo Paper Pads. We were asked to experiment on the paper and give our feedback to the manufacturer. We did this as our November program and our members were asked to give their opinion during the upcoming January meeting. I finished this small piece ( 4×6 ) yesterday on this paper sprayed it with Las caux fixative, I will be trying to varnish this with a liquid varnish, like how Ester roi does her pieces. Just so to see if the paper takes all that beating. I am posting the work for now and will be doing a detailed post about this paper over the weekend.
In the meantime if you are interested in these papers they are available in the Blick site – http://www.dickblick.com/products/hahnemuhle-bamboo-paper-pads/

I remember that and will be very interested to hear your opinions. You have a great forum for this.

That is SO gorgeous! Do you like that paper better than other papers? Does it take lots of layers. I want to know more about the varnishing process. I’ve never tried that!
